[3G] nelle impostazioni -> serv. localizzazione

ho notato che nelle impostazioni il servizio di localizzazione può essere sia off che on

allora ho cercato il manuale da scaricare (che ho trovato solo in inglese) e dice:

"Location Services

Location Services allows applications such as Maps and Camera to gather and use

data indicating your location. Location Services does not correlate the data it collects

with your personally identifiable information. Your approximate location is determined

using available information from cellular network data, local Wi-Fi networks (if you

have Wi-Fi turned on), and GPS (if you have an iPhone 3G).

You can turn Location Services off if you don’t want to use this feature. If you turn

Location Services off, you’ll be prompted to turn it back on again the next time an

application tries to use this feature.

Turn Location Services on or off: Choose General > Location Services and turn

location services on or off.

Note: To conserve battery life, turn Locations Services off when you’re not using it. "

non mi è chiaro se il servizio di localizzazione gira in background consumando batteria, oppure solo quando si attiva un app

sono più propenso per la seconda perchè quando si avvia maps ci vuole un po' prima di esser localizzato

il servizio di localizzazione si attiva in Maps ed è il pulsantino piccolo in basso a sinistra...per disattivarlo, come hai gia notato, basta andare in General -> Location Services.

Una volta attivato, se non lo disattivi dalle impostazioni, da quello che ho capito rimane attivo in background....e ciuccia un bel po di batteria (l'ho provato ieri sera) quindi conviene attivarlo solo quando ti serve e poi disattivarlo subito
