iMac lento

Ciao a tutti, ho un iMac late 2013 (2.9 ghz, i5,8gb ram). Quando apro alcuni programmi,(es Foto) ci impiega almeno 20 secondi. E' normale, vista la configurazione?  Eì necessario un programma di pulizia? Se si, quale? Grazie a tutti.

Lascia stare i programmi di pulizia, comincia con l'investigare cosa gira nel tuo Mac. Usa Etrecheck e incolla qui il report.

Comunque se hai a bordo un hard disk tradizionale la lentezza ci sta. Coi nuovi sistemi è meglio avere un SSD.

Apple non dovrebbe neanche più proporli gli iMac con hard disk o fusion drive, soprattutto adesso con High Sierra :preoccupato:

Hai un HD meccanico...il problema sta là. Se puoi cambialo, porta le ram almeno a 8 Gb e vai tranquillo.

Ok. In realtà, come già scrissi all'inizio, la ram è già di 8 gb. Per l'ssd mi hanno consigliato dapprima il   Samsung MZ-75E500B/EU SSD 850 EVO, 500 GB, 2.5", SATA III e poi il  Crucial MX300 Interno da SSD 525GB, 2.5" - CT525MX300SSD1 (sembra certificato da Apple). Secondo voi quale dei 2 è il più indicato?

Occhio a scrivere di usare etrechdck che magari qualcuno suscettibile ti dice cue non sei buono a dar consigli 😂
