Salve a tutti mac users. Quando avvio il mio iMac nella schermata del login appare oltre al mio utente amministratore anche un altro utente con la dicitura "Altro..." come faccio ad eliminarlo?

Controlla di NON avere abilitato l'utente "root".

 

Potrebbe anche essere che hai del malware, fatti fare un report da Etrecheck e postalo qui che gli diamo un'occhiata.

Vedo che hai installato un sacco di software di terze parti. Per lo più non li conosco. Potrebbe essere che uno di questi, per l'installazione, abbia attivato l'utente "root".  Mi mordo le labbra: cosa te ne fai di "Adobe Acrobat reader"?

 

Hai provato a verificare? Preferenze di Sistema > Utenti e gruppi > (sblocca lucchetto) Opzioni login > Server accedi... > Apri Utility Directory > Menu' Modifica > disabilita utente root

questo è il giro da fare su Sierra, non ho High Sierra.

 

Altra prova,  Preferenze di Sistema > Sicurezza> FileVault > disattiva  (lo riattiverai dopo il prossimo riavvio)

 

 

P.S.: importante. Ho visto che hai installato Disk Drill, e hai attivato l'orrenda funzione di "backup" degli elementi cestinati. Ti sei portato in casa un problema. Sei completamente fuori strada. Valuta una strategia differente per i tuoi backup.

Dovresti per prima cosa disattivare qeulla funzione, e poi rimuovere accuratamente l'applicazione.

 

Time Machine rimane imbattibile a fare il suo mestiere, a mio modesto parere.

Ciao grazie... ho risolto... c'era attivato l'utente root. 

Adobe lo uso solo per visualizzare un solo file pdf perché ho notato che se lo apro con Anteprima si corrompe e non lo posso modificare sul web.

Per il backup ovviamente uso TimeMachine... diskdrill l'ho preso solo in bundle.

Sì, ma tieni presente che ti crea files grandi gigabytes nella cartella nascosta /tmp/ che non ti rendi nemmeno conto di avere, e sono poi difficili da estirpare. Procedi come ti ho indicato.
