Buongiorno a tutti,

 

Circa due settimane fa ho installato sul mio MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013) il programma Microsoft Teams per seguire le lezioni universitarie online.

Dopo pochi giorni di utilizzo il mio Mac ha iniziato a spegnersi improvvisamente (circa 5 volte al giorno), sia durante l'utilizzo di Microsoft Teams sia durante l'utilizzo di altri software (Skype, Geogebra, Google Chrome...).

Ogni volta che riuscivo a riaccendere il Mac esso mi segnalava un resoconto di Kernel Panic, causato da alcune estensioni del Kernel relative al programma VirtualBox (software che avevo eliminato da qualche giorno) presenti in  

Library/StagedExtensions/VirtualBox

Dunque da Terminale ho usato il comando  

sudo kextcache -prune-staging

per rimuovere tutte le estensioni del kernel che non sono più presenti nella loro posizione originale da 

StagedExtensions

Inoltre ho disinstallato per sicurezza anche Microsoft Teams, ho aggiornato il sistema operativo alla versione più recente (macOS Catalina 10.15.4) e ho aggiornato tutte le applicazioni.

Pensavo di aver risolto il problema e invece il mio Mac ha continuato a spegnersi improvvisamente. Questa volta i messaggi di Panic riguardano la GPU. Ho anche avviato un test con EtreCheck, dal quale ho notato che erano presenti nella memoria del Mac i seguenti unsigned file: 

com.google.keystone.xpcservice.plist
com.microsoft.teams.TeamsUpdaterDaemon.plist
com.google.keystone.agent.plist
org.virtualbox.startup.plist

Ho eliminato subito quelli riguardanti Microsoft Teams e VirtualBox.

Tuttavia il mio Mac continua a spegnersi improvvisamente, vi allego il resoconto più recente:

Fai sempre un backup prima.

Mi scuso per il doppio post.

Purtroppo nemmeno la reinstallazione ha funzionato, anzi.

Dopo aver completato la reinstallazione dell'OS il Mac avrebbe dovuto avviarsi subito, invece si è spento improvvisamente ancor prima di completare l'avvio. Già, quasi sicuramente è un problema intrinseco all'hardware dei MacBook Pro inizio 2013. Cercando nel sito della Apple ho visto che da tempo è stato "ufficializzato" il problema delle GPU di tali computer.

Visto che il prodotto è obsoleto ora mi conviene cercare un nuovo computer. Peccato, questo Mac ce l'avevo da soli 8 mesi😂
