Buon giorno,

da oggi, quando apro preferenze di sistema, ottengo la famigerata palla rotante e, forzando l'arresto con alt-cmd-esc, la finestra mi dice che non "preferenze di sistema non risponde".

Ho un iMac con le seguenti caratteristiche:

 

  Identificatore modello: iMac14,3

  Nome processore: Quad-Core Intel Core i7

  Velocità processore: 3,1 GHz

16Gb

Catalina OSX 10.15.7

 

Ho provato a riavviare in tutti i modi, ma niente da fare. Preferenze di sistema non funzione.

Se non ci fossero malware in giro e non riuscissi a sbloccare, potresti cancellare le preferenze delle preferenze 🙂

Il file com.apple.systempreferences.plist si trova in user > Libreria > Preferences > 

se lo cancelli al prossimo riavvio si creerà di nuovo, ma poi dovrai ricostruire tutte le preferenze che avevi impostato.

La roba in rosso è da risolvere, per me hai installato un sacco di porcherie nel tempo, il disco ha un problema, potrebbe anche solo essere software ma va controllato.

Da quanto non formatti la macchina?

Dovresti disinstallare, rimuovere accuratamente:

 

Diskdrill - in particolare l'orrendo sistema di "backup del cestino" che va a ingigantire alcuni files nascosti, che ti mangiano il disco.

 

Flash Player - E' una ciofeca.

 

FUSE - Very old.

 

MalwareBytes - Ormai fa più danni che benefici

 

Micromat Tech Tool - Capisco che vuoi indagare sul disco, ma hai già abbastanza casini

 

E prova a disinstallare, e a stare senza per un paio di settimane, MS OneDrive

 

Io non andrei a formattare, ma alzare il cofano e darci una pulita, ci vuole proprio!

Il tuo iMac è del 2013-2015. Mi sembra che tu abbia già sostituito il disco originale con un Samsung EVO. 

Visto che dai check esce fuori “Failing hard drive - This computer has a hard drive that appears to be failing” , installa Drive DX e verifica le condizioni del disco prima di procedere. Magari è da buttare e allora è inutile darsi da fare con soluzioni che lasciano il tempo che trovano.
