“Indubbiamente un comportamento in atteso” Apple Support su Twitter ha risposto così a un utente che ha segnalato l’esplosione del proprio iPhone X a seguito dell’aggiornamento a iOS 12.1.
Ecco la risposta di Apple via Twitter:

Gadgets360 ha contattato Rahel Mohamad, l’utente Twitter a cui è esploso il cellulare:

“This year early January I bought the iPhone and have been using it normally.” he said. The iPhone X was in process of getting updated to iOS 12.1 when Mohamad, as is standard practice, put it on charging. “Dark grey smoke started coming from the phone. The update was completed and as soon as the phone turned on it started to smoke and caught fire.”
Indubbiamente ci aspettiamo che sia stata una coincidenza nonostante Mohamad abbia affermato di stare utilizzando caricabatterie e cavo originali forniti nella confezione e che l’esplosione sarebbe avvenuta subito dopo la rimozione del dispositivo dalla carica.
When I held the phone it was very hot and I drop the phone immediately. Then it started to smoke.
Apple ha chiesto all’utente di inviargli il telefono in modo da poter investigare sulle cause che hanno scaturito la scintilla.
Non è la prima volta che sentiamo parlare di iPhone esplosi e negli anni i numeri sono aumentati. I problemi sarebbero legati alle batterie a litio, i quali componenti, a contatto con l’aria esploderebbero.
Chissà cosa Apple scoprirà. Vi terremo aggiornati sulla vicenda.
